Millions in Cigars Stolen
77 Year old Charles Vella from Australia claims to have had $4 million dollars worth of cigars stolen from his warehouse.
$4 million dollars in cigars translates into 83,000 sticks of Toscani, Flor De Filipinas and Il Barone cigars.
Mr. Vella provides us with an even more interesting story about the situation: He claims that the theft of the cigars was “organized”.
Moving 83,000 sticks of cigars in a weekend – assuming the whole weekend was used – is a real task. The time frame provided for the robbery was sometime between Friday and Monday.
The warehouse the cigars were stored in had a sophisticated alarm system- bypassed by a ladder. There is no mention of any video recording at the premises.
The final twist of the story is that some of the cigars that were stolen were also “moldy”.
