Machine made cigars export is growing

Submitted by Oliver on December 27, 2011 – 9:03 amNo Comment

The good news about machine made Cuban cigars is that many smokers around the world seem to be enjoying them. As a consequence: their exports are quickly growing bringing huge profits to its manufacturer Internacional Cubana de Tabaco S.A.

The Cuban based company has announced a 6% export of machine made cigars growth for the entire 2011.

This year has been especially tough for all tobacco manufacturing companies due to various anti-tobacco laws and plain packaging introduced in Australia and some other countries. However, the Cuban officials are quite optimistic about it and predict a 12.6 % growth in the machine made cigars and a 13.6 value increase in the following year. They are also expecting $20 million earnings next year which means they do believe cigars will be in high demand, in spite of various obstacles.

The Internacional Cubana de Tabaco S.A is globally known for producing best-selling luxury cigarettes and handmade cigars. They release more than 10 brands and 44 lines of their products – all of them are made of genuine Cuban tobacco, with no chemical additives.
