Gurkha Elegance
The Gurkha marketing machine is at it again with a cigar named the “Elegance“.
Information on this luxury cigar is very limited, the website simply states:
“This wonderful 7 year aged Connecticut Connecticut wrapper is so pristine, we only can release 800 boxes this year and we are almost sold out. Medium body with just a phenomenal draw as well as finish will stimulate your senses.”
Creating a cigar with a Connecticut wrapper, binder, and a Dominican filler does not seem unique or difficult enough to warrant the $300 price tag (you can find it online for $200). Like most Gurkha packages the price tag is really a reflection of the over the top box accompanying the cigars.
If purchasing this set has crossed your mind you may want to consider the following: Take a bunch of *name any other cigar in world* and place them into a new Xikar humidor. Not only will you get cigars anyone can actually enjoy but the humidor will be of better quality.
Gurkha is advertising the Elegance in all of the big cigar publications – Forbes and Luxist.

Once again Gurkha comes out with a product that will be whored out on the internet and comes in flashy packaging. If you are interested in this cigar just grab a box of macanudo and save yourself half the money.
