Albuquerque Cigar Bars
Albuquerque is now in the cigar news thanks to councilor Michael Cadigan.
Mr. Cadigan is attacking all current cigar bars in New Mexico stating that every establishment is operating illegally.
That’s right: There are no legal cigar bars in Albuquerque.
The councilor is citing two laws that should, or so he hopes, bring down all the lounges.
Public safety chief Pete Dinelli will not be shutting down the lounges or even citing any of the smoking havens.
He is allowing time for every shop to comply with new rules that will be in effect.
It’s nice to hear someone still has their head on straight.
